River Springs

The River Springs Chapter is located in Southeastern Missouri.  Our chapter works on government trails managed by both federal and state agencies.  Some of the trails we volunteer on are the Irish Wilderness in Oregon and Ripley County, Sam A. Baker State Park in Wayne County, Lake Wappapello State Park north of Poplar Bluff in Butler County and the designated horse trails in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways in Shannon County.  We mainly work on the Ozark Trail which crosses southeastern Missouri for over 200 miles.

Our work days are every third Saturday if the weather cooperates and also if we do not have any BCHMO events to go to.  Notifications are by email and Facebook.  We also have work and fun rides during the week when we reschedule a work day or when we must in order to get all the trails in our area cleaned at least once a year.  We work and enjoy the scenery as we go. You are welcome to come and ride with us anytime. You can do as much or little as you want, you’ll meet new friends and have fun. So check the calendar dates, saddle up and come ride with us!
